NEW FIVE STAR BUSINESS PUTS SPARK INTO ELECTRICIANS
TWO Tees Valley electricians have joined forces to put their entrepreneurial skills and industry experience to the test with the launch their own new business.
Time-served electricians Paul Simpson and Ronny Reed, both 27 and from Stockton on Tees, have teamed up to create Five Star Electrical which offers both commercial and domestic services.
The new business partners, who have known each other since their school days, have 20 years of combined industry experience and have been working together on self-employed contracts for more than a year.
The friends, who decided to start their own business after the down-turn affected job security, say they are already seeing the benefits of working directly with their own customers: “Running a business is a challenge but our commitment to customer care and satisfaction means we are already starting to see the benefits,” said Paul.
“One of the best things for us so far is receiving direct feedback from our customers; this gives us a great sense of pride and keeps us at the top of our game.”
The duo has quickly built up a strong customer base through referrals and they pride themselves on their reliable and competitive offering.
In November last year they became an approved contractor with consumer safety organisation and independent regulatory body for the electrical industry - National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
Ronny said: “We are very excited to have started our own business, we really wanted to work together and it’s going very well.
“We can do anything from small domestic jobs to commercial contracts. Everyday we look forward to going to work - its great being your own boss.”
