ENTREPRENEURIAL FAMILY CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF SEVENTH EVENTS BUSINESS

A STOCKTON events manager who has helped organise and produce scores of global music and entertainment productions has now launched his own business with his family.

Andrew Pearson, 39, of Eaglescliffe, has set up Seventh Events with family members, Bridget and Max Pearson, to provide full and bespoke event management service for corporate and private occasions.

Andrew, who is production director at Seventh, has extensive experience organising hugely successful international music events such as Live 8 and Live Earth concerts.

“We are delighted to launch Seventh, this has always been our dream to have a family-owned business and we are all really excited about growing the company,” said Andrew, who is currently working on tour with boy band, JLS.

“I’ve worked in the events industry all my life and have helped organise everything from a small, intimate party to seated stadium concert for 80,000,” he said.

“Once you’ve handled logistics at that level it really allows you to let your imagination go with what’s possible with an event and that’s why we’ve created Seventh – to allow us to bring that knowledge and experience to both the corporate and private sectors.”

Seventh, which is handling the site management of this summer’s London Weekender festival, Love Box, in the capital’s Victoria Park, can provide a full bespoke management package, including designing layouts of events through to state-of-the-art CAD drawings, sourcing venues, creating fireworks displays, providing site infrastructure and entertainment and manage the execution of the actual occasion.

The company offers services to any kind of occasions including corporate dinners, product launches, press events, weddings and general music and entertainment across the board.

Alternatively, people who want to organize their own event can simply hire equipment, such as marquees, dance floors, lighting and sound equipment.

Brother, Max, who is marketing director and lives in Ingleby Barwick, has coordinated the creation of the brand and website and will manage bookings and provide support for the company.  Mother, Bridget, who is financial director, said: “We’ve invested heavily in creating a distinctive brand and website and we are confident we can give people the benefit of our experience.

“We are already working on several local and national events including Lovebox and we will be making an announcement in the coming weeks about a fantastic guest speaker event coming to Teesside.”
